Simplicity ~ Clarity ~ Purpose.

Self-Care – What Are You Talking About?!

Self:  I, oneself, persona, person, identity, character, personality, psyche, soul, spirit, mind, (inner) being

Debt:  in arrears, behind with payments, overdrawn; insolvent, bankrupt, ruined; in the red.

Self-debt: to have bankrupted your energy, to be behind on payments when it comes to your self-care, to be overdrawn on your spiritual account, empty

Who or what comes before you?  Why?

If it’s your children, ask yourself:  “if I don’t take care of my kid’s mom, who will?

What would you do for yourself if money or time were not something you put in your way?

Make a list of exactly what that looks like.  You must have clarity on how you’d take care of yourself in order to do that.

What do you want?  Not what you don’t want; want you do want!

Check to see if there are feelings of guilt coming up even though you have committed to nothing yet.  Really feel what they are so you can name them – I shouldn’t, I’m not worthy, I’m not enough, etc.

How do you feel when it’s your turn to receive or do/can you?

On a scale of 1 – 10 where do you fall in putting others first?

On a scale of 1 – 10 how important do you feel self-care is and why?

On a scale of 1 – 10 could you value yourself more or do you value yourself enough to put YOU first or at least get yourself on the list?

Where can you begin to create more space to put yourself first?  Do you get that if you treat yourself better you are of more service in the world?

In what areas do you give with no room to receive?

Are you willing to do the work it takes to release that?
